Frequently Asked Questions
When are Friends & Family workouts offered?
We have winter workouts that run November – March each year. These workouts focus on training on the erg (indoor rowing machine) out of the Brittingham Boathouse. From April – October we run on-the-water workouts in sweep or sculling boats. Sessions are usually offered three-to-four times a week.
I have never rowed before; can I still join?
Yes! Our coaching staff will teach you the basics and help get you started. Rowing is nice in that you can start at any time in your life. We also have a yearly National Learn to Row on the first Saturday in June.
