offering year-round rowing in the madison area since 2004
Junior Competitive Rowing
Offering opportunities for 8th – 12th graders in the greater Madison area to learn, develop, and excel at the sport of rowing. We welcome all high school rowers, regardless of experience. Our coaching staff will give you the tools necessary to become successful in rowing and in life. They will push you to exceed your own expectations while ensuring a fun environment.
Our junior team travels regionally and nationally to compete in regattas. Highlights include the Head of the Charles in Massachusetts, the Head of the Hooch in Tennessee, and several races in Ohio. Our spring season culminates with a regional championship and the chance to qualify for USRowing’s Youth National Championships. The team races 3-5 times per season. Each year, our rowers attend top colleges around the country. Some continue rowing, others take the lifelong lessons they’ve learned with them. Some of our recent graduates have attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Holy Cross, Delaware, UPenn, Columbia, Carnegie Mellon, Washington, and the University of Minnesota.
If you wish to be passionate about the sport of rowing and part of a team like no other, join us at any time!
