Junior Rowing

Camp Randall Rowing Club (CRRC) offers a competitive rowing program for high school students throughout our community. No previous experience is required. This program, known as Juniors in the world of rowing, is also open to mature 8th grade students who have some previous rowing experience.

June 18 – Aug 3

  • Monday – Friday
  • FULL TEAM – 6am-8am
  • No Saturday Practice

 

Financial Aid

Financial Aid is available for those participants meeting the Federal Eligibility Guidelines for Free or Reduced Lunch. Scholarships will be awarded to the extent that funds are available. Download the Scholarship Application Here.

Fall Practice Times:
Fall practice starts Sept. 4th

4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Monday – Friday, Saturday mornings (coaches’ discretion).

Following the end of on-the-water rowing, practices will run from 4:30 to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday until the ice is out and the docks are in.  On some weekends, rowers during the winter, rowers will have the opportunity to row in the University of Wisconsin indoor rowing tanks (dates to be set in consultation with the UW).

Fall 2018 Regattas:

September 18, 2018: Milwaukee River Challenge, Milwaukee, WIsconsin (varsity rowers only)

October 14, 2018: Head of the Rock Regatta, Rockford, Illinois (novice and varsity rowers)

October 20 and 21, 2018: Head of the Charles Regatta, Cambridge, Massachusetts (limited varsity rowers) (will require travel on October 18 or 19, with likely return on October 21 or 22).

October 27, 2018: Blake Haxton Regatta, Columbus, Ohio (novice and varsity rowers) (will require travel on October 26 and return late on October 27).

  • May 5-6: Indy Sprints INFO
  • May 18 – 20Midwest Regionals
  • June 9 – 11 Nationals (qualifying only)
  • July 6th: Chicago Sprints
