We’re headed to the 22st Annual Tail of the Fox Regatta, Sunday, October 6!
Varsity and novice rowers participate in this regatta. Rowers will travel by bus, leaving (very) early on Sunday and returning that same evening.
This is a 2.5-mile head race that will be held on the scenic Fox River on the campus of St. Norbert College. Rowers will be transported via buses, leaving bright & early from the Copps parking lot, 3650 University Avenue (near the intersection of Midvale and University) at 4:30 am!
For those families/friends making the drive use this link for directions to St Norbert: http://www.snc.edu/admission/directions.html
PLEASE NOTE there is a home Packers game against the Detroit Lions. Be aware for travel time to and from the regatta. The kick off is noon. Also NEW Sept. 30, 2013 — If you haven’t heard, the Leo Frigo Bridge on U.S. Highway 43 over the Fox River has been closed indefinitely due to major structural issues. Although few, if any of you, would use that way to get to De Pere, the closure is causing significant traffic issues across the entire Green Bay area. That, coupled with the road construction on Highway 41 and the home Packer game, will cause many traffic headaches. Please allow plenty of travel time, particularly going home.
