Camp Randall Invite

Check Back Soon for the 2020 Date

Here is important information to help you prepare for the day.

Race Location: The Camp Randall Invite is held at Vilas Beach, 1501 Vilas Park Drive,  Madison, WI 53715. The trailer parking area, shell storage area, team tent areas, launch & return dock, oar storage, and dockmaster will all be located at Vilas Park.

Coaches & Coxswains Meeting:  This meeting will be scheduled for 8:00am on race day next to timers tent.

Race Course: The 1750m racecourse is located on Lake Wingra. The best location for viewing the races is at Vilas park or along Vilas Park Rd. The finish line is in front of Vilas Beach.

Race Schedule: Racing will start at 9:00 am. Final schedule can be found here

Parking:

Spectator parking will be at Vilas Park. There are several lots along Vilas Park Drive as well as on-street parking. Vilas Park Drive is one way so be prepared to do a loop or two to find parking. There is a fair amount of construction in the area so please consider using google maps as it will assist you in avoiding unexpected lane and road closures.

Coaches will have limited parking at the lot next to Vilas Beach. This will be reserved for coaches and for vehicles used by visiting teams to transport their equipment.  This is not a large lot, so parking will be very limited. Please park trailers on the left side of the lot. The right side will be used for overflow. Follow the map below for getting your trailer into the park.

Buses must park at Bowman Field (1775 Fish Hatchery Rd, Madison, WI 53713). Please advise your bus drivers to avoid parking (and idling) on nearby residential streets.
Registration Fee: The entry fee for the 2019 Camp Randall Invite is $80 per eight and $40 per four. Bring a check to the race or mail it to us:
