EMMET RAICHLE

Assistant junior Team Coach | Varsity and Novice

Coach Emmet Raichle joined the CRRC staff in August of 2021. Emmet previously rowed for Camp Randall in middle and high school. Some highlights from his time on the team include competing at the 51st Head of the Charles Regatta, the 2015 National Championships in the lightweight eight, and the 2016 National Championships in the lightweight four that finished 4th
place overall.

During his sophomore year at Syracuse University, Emmet walked-on to the Orange’s Division I rowing program where he enjoyed training and competing at the collegiate level. He later stepped away from the team to pursue alpine ski racing and studying abroad in Florence, Italy. In Florence, Emmet became a member of the historic rowing club, Società Canottieri Firenze. He still enjoys rowing his grandfather’s wooden Pocock single near Puget Sound in Washington. Emmet graduated from Syracuse in May of 2021 with a degree in Public Policy and currently resides in Madison, WI.

Coach Emmet is thrilled with the opportunity to return and help develop the newest generation of Camp Randall rowers. He looks forward to encouraging the same passion he has for the sport in his athletes and helping them appreciate that lessons learned in rowing are lessons learned for life.
