Welcome to CRRC!

Welcome to the Camp Randall Rowing Club, which was established in 1995 by a group of Olympic and elite University of Wisconsin rowers. We row out of the restored Brittingham Boathouse on Monona Bay in Madison, Wisconsin.

The club offers a summer Learn to Row program for middle and high school students, and a year-round Junior competitive rowing program for high school students. CRRC’s WeCanRow program is targeted to female cancer survivors. A color brochure is available for download.

Important!

Two years ago we set out to add running water and toilets to the boathouse. I am happy to report that this spring we completed the construction project and our rowers no longer rely on water carried to the boathouse by volunteers and port-a-potties. This stage of the renovation allows us to accommodate the needs of our expanded rowing programs.
As frequently occurs with the renovation of historic buildings, unexpected construction issues resulted in additional costs. Although, Camp Randall met its initial fundraising commitments, we need to raise an additional $25,000 to retire the debt that Camp Randall incurred to complete the project.
Please help us today with a generous, tax deductible contribution to retire the debt that Camp Randall incurred to complete the renovation of the historic Brittingham Boathouse. We will recognize all gifts by including the donor’s name engraved on a bronze plaque mounted on the Brittingham Boathouse.
Help us keep the oldest building in the Madison Park system in good condition to help our community meet the needs and expectations of rowers of all ages.
